While various types of shows, programs, and apps generally support language development, most children who require speech therapy services need a treatment program tailored to their specific communication needs.

Sessions are either 30-minutes or 60-minutes long. We base the duration on evaluation results and your child's clinical needs. We also consider any diagnosis (or diagnoses) when determining the length of sessions.
30-minute sessions are 25 minutes of treatment and 5 minutes of documentation. 60-minute sessions are 50 minutes of treatment and 10 minutes of documentation.
This question is the most challenging to answer in speech therapy. There is no magic answer as it depends on the severity of your child's needs, how they respond to treatment, attendance to therapy, and if you practice target skills at home. Here is a blog post that covers this in more detail.

If your child has already had an evaluation at another clinic, they may or may not need an evaluation from NeuroKids. It depends on how recently you completed the evaluation, whether the report includes goals, and how thorough it was.
We can review your child's prior evaluation to determine if it is sufficient to begin therapy services. We will only recommend a new evaluation if it is warranted.
A superbill is a document that itemizes the services provided to a patient by a healthcare professional who doesn't formally accept their insurance. You use this document to submit claims to your insurance company for reimbursement.
An evaluation involves testing (standardized and non-standardized), clinical observations, and parent report. This is all completed by a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Evaluations generally look at multiple areas of speech and language development, including (but not limited to) articulation, receptive language, and expressive language. Results determine if ongoing speech therapy services are needed.
We conduct therapy in various places (in home, in office, in schools, online) depending on where you live, ease of travel, scheduling, and your child's therapeutic needs. For more information click here.
